Michael has worked in the asset-based lending industry for the past 12 years. A 1990 graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Michael began his career as an auditor for Fremont Financial Corporation. Besides participating in several workouts and bankruptcies, he was a key investigator in account noncompliance and discrepancies. Michael continued his career at Foothill Capital Corporation, where he was promoted quickly from financial analyst through account management and finally to assistant audit manager/special projects manager.
In 1996, Michael founded Evergreen Collateral Consulting, LLC, in the Seattle area to fill an industry need for a contract firm to perform high-quality exams with insightful analysis in a timely fashion. Evergreen has grown to include 30 examiners located throughout the United States.
Michael specializes in account analysis, appraisal, and forecasting on the macro and micro level. His expertise is in computer systems analysis, database design and analysis, and forensic accounting in the investigation of potential fraud, misappropriation, or non-compliance. Michael is often asked to speak to groups within financial institutions and to trade groups. |
